The journey began with an exhaustive analysis of every available air quality sensor, often requiring custom firmware to unlock their true potential. He didn't just pick a screen; he sourced the highest quality 2.8-inch IPS LCD and then crafted a custom user interface from the ground up—designing unique widgets and even a bespoke font to ensure perfect clarity and readability.
Engineering the Core:
The research continued with selecting the optimal Microcontroller Unit (MCU) that could robustly handle both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity.
